Bedni Bugyal is a beautiful vast green meadow adorned with flowers in endless varieties, located at the border of Garhwal region in Chamoli district of Uttrakhand. Apart from the greenery and natural vegetation, there is a small lake, known as Vaitarni lake, situated in the midst of the meadow, reflecting the beautiful surroundings and the Trishul peak.
The route to Bedni Bugyal is a famous trek trail. Bedni Bugyal is nestled at an altitude of 3354 meters and the trek trail is about 10 kms in length. The route takes you through lush green grasslands, valleys, and quant little hamlets, forests of conifer and oak trees, making you closer to nature.
The starting point of trek is at Wan. From Wan, the zig-zag trail covered with thick forests will lead you to Bedini Bugyal (11 km). From Bedini you can also trek up to Ali Bugyal, which is a green meadow resting on the top of a mountain.
How to reach?
From Delhi you can easily reach upto Haridwar via direst bus or train. Once reaching Haridwar, one can drive to Mundoli via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag. Its 10 km drive from Mundoli to Wan.
