“Wherever you go, go with all your heart.”

  ~ Confucius

Are you on a path of wisdom looking for a breakthrough or a revelation that brings with it new meaning? Then you’ve arrived at the right place!

The root of New Acropolis International Organization (IONA) goes back to Argentina where it was set up in 1957. They work as pioneers by bringing philosophy to life. They are spread across 60 countries worldwide and manage over 40,000 volunteers. With centres established in Bangalore and Mumbai, the organisation will help you elevate and evolve into another whole level through philosophy, culture and volunteerism.

Philosophy means nothing but the love of wisdom. And that’s why IONA is offering a Scholastic program called Living Philosophy. The objective of this course shall help you transform and find answers for yourselves. With an eclectic mix of intellectualism and religion you can be on a journey from learning to living.

The Introduction to the Living Philosophy course was held at New Acropolis, Indira Nagar.

With constant guidance from Ankit and Suchita, the course is divided into 3 parts covering a vast scope of philosophical conscience. The first section, Ethics, deals with concepts that will teach you to know and unite yourself, the life and teachings of Buddha and about ancient civilizations of India, Greece, China and Egypt. The second section, Socio-Politics, covers the relationship between man and the society and the various forms of governance. And the last section, The Philosophy of History deals with component factors of man and the world such as evolution, myths and history.

Suchita is a volunteer at IONA and also one of the teachers of Living Philosophy. “I studied this course 6 years ago and I learnt one important thing. The awakening,” says Suchita.

Linus is a social worker and traveller and has worked as a teacher in India and Vietnam. “The session this evening was delightful. It gave me an insight to the fundaments of philosophy,” says Linus. “The idea of Living Philosophy is a very promising course and serves right if you are a lover of practical philosophy,” added Linus.

Anita is a scientist of bioinformatics. “I found out about the introductory session to Living Philosophy through a friend and it was absolutely interesting,” says Anita. “My work might hold me back but I would love to join the course,” added Anita.

With no second thoughts, this course can help you gain deeper perspectives, grow, develop and reach beyond yourself. So don’t forget to register before the classes commence!
