One of the best methods of therapy is simply leaving the bustling life of city and travel to some off beat destination. While most city dwellers only dream about travelling, there are some who act and celebrate life by enjoying the beauty our country has to offer. India is full of all kinds of terrains that offer beautiful natural locations. We asked some busy travel bloggers about their favourite destination in India. Here's what they had to say.

Favourite destination: Himalayan National Park.

Because of its serenity, porters who were way too hospitable and most importantly, it was our first solo camping and was too adventurous, as we went in off season, when the park was about to close. It rained heavily during the night, and both of us sisters were scared a bit for the first time.

Favourite destination: Kumarakom Backwaters, Kerala

The mild humming of boat engine and cheerful chirps of evening birds were the only sounds I heard. The lavish resorts and cosy home stays stood at the bank, looking elegant. Gradually, the boat navigated away from the resorts and slowly, no hint of civilization was visible. A waft of air made our boat sway gently. The showers had now stopped and the clouds started to scatter. Far in the distant horizon, bright shades of orange and pink appeared, resembling an act of a magician. A magician that conjured up colorful patterns out of a gloomy backdrop. The magician here, surely wanted to entice the audience and keep them rapt in attention. I bowed down to the sheer brilliance of the act by the great Magician, I bowed to the sheer beauty exuded by Kumarakom Backwaters.

Favourite Destination: Clichéd as it many sound, I will say Ladakh. (Not in the summers, but in the cold winter)

Winter in Ladakh turned out to be the most epic adventure of my life. From getting stuck in a snowstorm at Khardung La to walking on a frozen Pangong Tso, narrowly missing spotting the snow leopard deep into Markha Valley – all alone and for very cheap.

Favourite Destination: Jaisalmer, Rajsathan

When you drive a little outside from Jaisalmer, into the core of the desert, you get to see miles and miles of sand dunes. The sand arranges itself in patterns only the wind knows, a meticulous discipline. What is special is the sense of freedom and humbleness one feels when in Jaislamer, especially the outskirts.
