Dear Friends,

This is a perfect getaway for the monsoon, the season is painted with shades of green and cool blues. The river is paved with lush green trees cascading into the surrounding hills. Enjoy the amazing bumpy ride on the Kundalika River where the rapids get your heartbeat going crazy. It’s not like any other form of adventure. Because being on your inflatable raft is like having a rodeo on water.

This 100% adventure comes to life only 4 hours hrs drive from Pune on Kundalika River.

Location info:

Kundalika is a small river flowing from the hills of Sahyadri to the Arabian sea. This river originates at a small town called Bhira, 150 km southeast of Mumbai. The important towns located on the banks of Kundalika are Kolad, Korlai, Chaul, Roha, and Salav.

River Kundalika is fed by the excess water from Tata power's mulshi dam project on to a series of hydroelectric projects and dams, including Ravalje followed by Bhira and then dholvan, where the water is released in the morning typically at 6 am. The gush of the water reaches Sutarwadi at 7:30 am and water rises at kolad at 10:00 am.

River rafting activity:

The duration of the rafting experience is approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hrs hours (depending on the flow of water). The distance covered is approximately 12 km in the water in which rapids of grade ranging from grade 2 to grade 4 are negotiated. The start point for rafting is located at Vile below the Bhira dam and the reporting time for river rafting is 08:00 am.
