Tie and dye is one of the oldest method of printing designs on fabric . It’s a part of almost every culture , known as Shibori in Japan, Bandhej/Bandhani and Leheriya in Rajasthan, Bandhani in Gujarat ... It’s practised in the U.S, South Africa and various other cultures also ... Tie and dye involve methods of tying or stitching or folding a fabric together to prevent the absorption of colour/dye to specific areas. Dyeing involves the application of colours on fabric to create patterns.
Steps of learning :
1.) Introduction to history and process of Tie and Dye. 2.) Learn to make Pleats, Folds, Stitch, Twist, Crease or crumple the fabric to get desired results in dyeing . 3.) Learn to dye the fabric using fabric colours.

What you need to bring : a) a rough hand towel to wipe your hands. b) an apron c) a small bag to carry your stuff home
