User research an essential part of the design process that shouldn't be overlooked by UX designers. User research is conducted so as to understand users characteristics, aims, and behaviors towards achieving these aims. Its purpose is to produce designs that improve their working practices and lives. User research also involves the continuous evaluation of the impact of designs on the users, not only during the design and development phase but after long-term use, too.
Here are three excellent reasons for doing user research:
To create designs that are truly relevant to your users
To create designs that are easy and pleasurable to use
To understand the return on investment (ROI) of your user experience (UX) design
This two-day workshop by Gradient Learning will guide participants on the basis of User Research and how to conduct User Research using different methods.
