About Camping Place:


Away from the fast-paced hustle and bustle of the city, camping near Mumbai is the best escape that one can get from the routine life. Camping around Mumbai can prove to be an exhilarating experience while you will be actually sleeping under the stars and finding your place in the world, as something tells you that this right here is your place. 


Camping on the edge of this lake is a truly pleasurable pursuit that will land you right in the lap of stunning scenery and relaxing environs. Recline and rejuvenate under a star-studded sky on this exciting activity!



Detailed Itinerary:

We will be starting with the CST Kasara Local (Timetable is given below)


People may board the same train from their convenient station and meet us directly at the Kasara station. ( Get into second boggy from Cst side)


Day 1 (Saturday)

02:25 pm: CST-Kasara train as per the timings mentioned.

02:38 pm: Dadar

02:45 pm: Kurla

03:04 pm: Thane

03:23 pm: Kalyan

04:34 pm: Kasara


05:00 pm: Jeep Ride to Camping Site.

07:00 pm: Reach Camping Site.

Get fresh & put on the tents.

08:00 pm: BBQ

09:00 pm: Campfire,

10:00 pm: Dinner


Post dinner Leave the campsite and go for the jungle trails and see fireflies 


Antakshri, Games, Ghost Stories, Dum Sheras & Lots of Masti.


End the day nearby a natural lake under the open sky & Enjoy sleeping in Tent.


Day 2  (Sunday)

07:00 AM - Wake Up Call.

08:00 AM -Breakfast

09:00 AM - Games.

10:30 AM - Boating in Lake.

11:30 PM - Move towards Kasara

01:00 PM - Reach Kasara Station.

03:40 PM - Reach Mumbai (Tentative).



Transportation from Kasara to Kasara by private vehicle.

Dinner (Saturday)



Morning breakfast & tea (Sunday)

Activity Charges (Boating )

First Aid

Guide & expertise charges.




Train tickets Mumbai to Mumbai to Kasara to Mumbai

Medical expenses other than First aid.

Things To Carry:

Identity Proof (must)

Good shoes, an extra pair of socks.

Torch with extra battery (Must)

A bottle of water (at least 1 Ltrs)

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.

Mats, Sleeping Bags, etc.

Medicine those u require usually.

Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.

Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.




Trek leaders decision will be final and binding.

Participants or Members are responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.

Firstly, if you are planning for the monsoon treks around the season, they are gonna be a good experience because the weather is awesome. If you are taking the help of an events organizer, you want them to add to the experience rather than making you feel annoyed even admist the pleasant surroundings. Live before you die is a poor organizer of Kalsubai trek and it is better to avoid them. Both the trek leaders Smit and Kaustubh were lacking in experience of leading a trek. I have done treks previously on my own as well as with event organisers but this one with Live before you die was one of the worst experiences I have had. Both the trek leaders had no value for time and from the start itself were not at all bothered to go as per the plan. We finally left at 7 pm against the plan of 4 pm and it would have been even more late if left up to the organziers. There was even no proper planning to have the size of the group equal to the capacity of bus and last minute adjustments were being made. The same was an issue while return as well. Both the trek leaders failed to help the group in crucial moments of ascent as well as descent during the trek and people were doing it on their own. The trek isn't hard but rain had made the tracks very slippery. I have saved the worst part for last. The trek leaders instead of letting the group sleep the night before in the bus played music throughout with singing and antakshiri which made it more of a picnic and was evident in how some of the people not being able to handle the strain tge next day because of lack of sleep. There are other pointers as well but I guess I would have made myself clear. Please go to Kalsubai trek but not with Live before you die. - by Abishake Koul for Monsoon Special Trek To Mt.
