Being able to communicate effectively is one of the most important life skills to be learnt. An opportune time is to seed the young minds with the nuances of communication during the early ages.
Communication in its simplest form is to effectively and clearly pass information to others and understand what others say. Conventionally, we understand communication only in its written or verbal context. However, Communication skills are not limited to Speaking and Writing Skills as we believe. A major part of it includes Listening Skills and Non-Verbal Communication. Our body constantly communicates Non-Verbally through Gestures and Postures.
This workshop aims to impart learnings on:
What communication actually means?
How can you use your voice to communicate effectively?
How can you develop your listening skills?
Youll knows how your body conveys your thoughts and the correct use of body language by understanding the importance of gestures, postures & eye contact and overcome barriers to communication.
The workshop will also deal with Confidence Building while communicating in public forums Giving speeches, addressing an audience with poise, interacting with others in groups as well as individuals.
This workshop is for students of age group 10 to 15 years and aims to address all their needs associated with communication at schools and inter-school forums, social events as well as individually.
The sessions shall be interactive based on experiential learning, consisting of mock situations, speech giving sessions and fun-filled activities to drive home the learnings.
