Paint the impressions of this experience in your Adventure log through the third Summer Moonlight trek to the mighty Torna Fort. A daring adventure awaits us where we start our trek at 3:00 am and summit the fort at the crack of dawn. As we explore the fortresses - Budla Machi and Zunzar Machi - you would see the legacy of Marathas who built this fort to stand cannon ball attacks and nearly everything.

Brief history of the fort:
Shivaji Maharaj’s first conquest, after conquering he renamed the fort ‘Torna' from the original name ‘Prachandagad’ - literally translates to ‘The massive fort’. Original construction of the fort was in the 13th century. Being the Nucleus of the Maratha Empire one can get views of Rajgad, Sinhagad, Raigad, Lingana and Purandar from Torna.
The Trek schedule:
Pick ups 2:00 - 3:30 pm Exit Pune City by 4:00 pm Reach Base village - Velhe by 6:00 Evening tea and snacks. 7:00 - Set up tents, prepare for the morning trek, keep equipment and backpack ready. 8:00 - Dinner
End of Day by 9:00 pm
Wake up call at 2:30 am 3:00 am Begin trek 6:30 - 7:00 am Reach summit and explore the fort 8:00 am - Breakfast and start descend 11:00 am - Reach Base village and rest. 12:00 noon - Lunch
Children only above the age of 12 accompanied by parents.

Adventure camping and outdoor sports/ recreation is purely for nature lovers and not for party groups; we respect nature and do our best to spread the awareness about wilderness preservation. Historic forts hold pride and valor for those who ruled there and we request you to show some respect by not indulging in any activity that will be disrespectful towards the historic figures and the present community living there.
