Kamal Pruthi, the shining star of the storytelling landscape of India is the creator of Kabuliwala folk format of storytelling and a grand publicist of the folk form in the urban space. The Bahroopiya of sorts, the man with the jhola of stories and a true polyglot, who performs in 7 languages and changes characters with a wink of an eye has represented India Internationally through nine international scholarships and Rex Karmaveer Chakra Award. A wanderer, the artistic director of Kabuliwala productions has so far travelled 7 countries and 13 states of India with his theatrical and Musical Storytelling productions like Bahroopiya, Mullah Nasruddin, Aadab Manto Saheb, Gossisps of 47', Namaste Germany, Chakla, Blue Kangaroo and Kabuliwala.
