My 10 year old son and I spent a whole 3 hours at this place on Sunday, as part of the Little Indian tribal Family Day. Having arrived in India in August, we are always, as a family, looking for things outside to do and we came across the invite on Book My Show. Not sure what we were heading to, I decided not to take my 5 year old and investigate with my 10 year old. We booked 2 tickets online and arrived at 10am. We were greeted by the most amazing and friendly staff and then headed straight to the petting area. It was there that we found out it was a rescue centre, I had no idea. Straight after the pet talk, we headed on a free walk around the park. My son tried cave painting, was obsessed with making a bow and arrow and immediately wanted tokens for archery, rifle shooting, the zipline and cargo net. It was a little bit of chaos at the start and people had constant questions about where to buy tokens and how many tokens could be used for what - it was much easier to buy a bag of tokens - it might've been a good idea to refund the tokens that weren't used? I think entrance should be limited, it wasn't as big an area as I thought, but we managed to have 3 fun filled hours. Some stands ran out of resources and parents were waiting in some cases for a long time - but not us - we found that going earlier perhaps avoided the waiting around. Next time I would go at 8am. It did start to get hot but the shade from the trees was enough to make it not too hot and as the rains had come the night before it wasn't as humid as normal.

It was nice to feel that we could have been in a forest anywhere and not in busy Mumbai! They should really build on this project as it would avoid some of the chaos if they made it bigger and better organised.

That said, my son and I had a throughly enjoyable time, my son left, sweaty and dirty and tired - which was great and not always available in Mumbai.

A big thank you to the staff - we even got to see a wounded Eagle being cared for by them!
