It's time to conquer the highest point in Maharashtra!
We're heading to mount Kalsubai this monsoon. It being the highest peak in Maharashtra commands respect & can test you mentally & physically, but the best view comes after the hardest climb & the view atop this Sahyadrian beauty will definitely leave you breathless!

Meeting point: Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane (6:00 am)
Departure point: Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane (9:00 pm)
06:00 am: Meet the Vagabond team outside Hotel Tip Top Plaza, and board our private bus to the base village. Enroute we will make a breakfast stop to fuel ourselves for the long climb that lies ahead of us.
10:00 am: We reach Bari (our base village), and have a round of introductions.
10:30 am: Gear up, pack your bags, and get your rain-gear out! It's gonna be a long and rainy climb to the top. We will make a few halts on the way to grab a snack or a drink.
02:00 pm: We reach the Kalsubai temple. You get a beautiful view of Bhandardara's Arthur lake from the summit. After a photo session, and soaking in the beautiful green mountains, we start our descent back down.
05:00 pm: We reach back down and board our bus back to Bombay.
08:30 pm: Adios! Back to the mundane city life. Until next time, Vagabonds!

Things to carry:
-Drinking water (Min 2 ltr)
-Rain cover for the bag
-Trekking pole (optional but useful)

-Please DO NOT be late. Meet us at Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane at 6:00 am sharp.
-This is a trek and not a nature trail, we will be ascending and descending slopes through the course of the trek.
-Please wear sturdy closed footwear that won't tear. And do not carry sling bags or any bag that dangles. Try keeping your hands free at all times.
-People with vertigo or phobia of heights should reconsider joining this trek as there are steep climbs through ladders.
-For those of you who haven't trekked before, don't worry, we at Vagabond encourage you to take your time and have a great experience climbing with us. A Vagabond trek isn't about speed, it's about the group experience. For those of you who have trekked before, we encourage you to encourage the beginners and help them through the way.
-Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
-Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 70% cancellation fee.
-Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will receive no refund.
