Just like how we take care of the heath and hygiene of our physical bodies, it is critically important to do the same with our inner self. We must sensibly embrace the techniques and methods that are crucial in cleansing our minds. This process vitalizes us and helps us to be centered. The more centered we are, the more in-charge we feel of the circumstances and situations we face in our lives.

This basic course offered by TBB and conducted by Chanshi Acmo, does just that - helps us look inward, become stress-free and more centered which is then a stepping stone to enter Zen with enhanced well being.

The gist of the course:
Gusto meditation is a set of internal practices that involves different stages of body-mind-breath techniques that can be classified into the following steps:

Acknowledge > Address > Aviate <==> Aware

The process begins with developing the ability to acknowledge the stress that could have its origin in the body or the mind. This is the most crucial elementary step and requires minimum awareness. Once one can acknowledge the stress, the reminder to address is intrinsic to us. We then follow the steps and techniques that are shared in the course to address the issues. With this, we feel very light, relaxed and aviate in our performances and the clarity we can bring in to each of our action. This leads to an increased awareness in an individual that is then an eternal loop. The more aware you become, the lighter you feel and vice-versa.

Pacific meditation is a set of powerful internal practices that involve different stages of body-mind-breath techniques. These Kriyas have its roots in Kriya Yoga, a branch of yoga that has some of its offering most practical and relevant to the present-day life.

In order to be more efficient, we need to break down our roles into the above 3 segments. It is important for us to understand that major chunks of the blocks that build our personality that we have, come from the unconscious childhood mind which is dependent on the families and social exposure we had as children. This personality that has been gained by different sources leads us to execute a certain level of performance which eventually could also make us proficient.

But, because the root of the proficiency lies in the building blocks that were not consciously chosen by us, there would be a great amount of conflict in the work we do vs contentment/satisfaction/joy that we derive. This negative layer blocks us from experiencing any sort of a breakthrough in our life in spite of our proficiency in any field.
To become complacent is not the solution because we know well that it would only suppress the natural expression of all the beautiful desires we nurture. The only natural and organic way to address this major conflict most of the people face is by consciously altering the building blocks of our personality.

What is a mandala?

A Mandala represents wholeness,
a cosmic diagram reminding us of
our relation to infinity, extending
beyond and within our bodies and minds.

The mandala appears to us in all
aspects of life, the Earth, the Sun,
the Moon and more obviously
the circles of life encompassing
friends, family, and communities.

Mandalas are circular designs
symbolizing the notion that life
is never-ending.

The design of the mandala is visually
appealing so as to absorb the mind in
such a way that random thoughts are
unable to get through and a spiritual
essence surrounds the individual
observing the mandala, which in turn
allows the individual a higher consciousness
or awareness almost as though being hypnotized.
This allows the busy mind to take
a break while the creative mind
is allowed to run free.

The colors have a deep impact on the
psyche. Art heals and creates Magic.

Mandala is used as a form of meditation to gain knowledge from within.
