Rules: - Early to bed and early to rise. Lazy people, kindly excuse - Prior experience of Yoga not needed - You should be able to walk with your rucksack (or pay for porters) - Vegetarian food only - Shared accommodation in tents and lodges. - This is a backpack trip. Slight changes might occur.
Itinerary: #Saturday, Reach Delhi by flight or train as per your convenience. In evening, you can take Volvo for Kasol.
#Sunday, (Trip Starts) Reach Kasol, which is our actual meeting point for this trip. Move to Barsheni by ordinary bus (one hour only). Walk to Nakthan village and settle down. The villages of Parvati valley are all surrounded by Apple orchards and Pine forest. We will have our first Yoga session in evening.
#Monday, Wake up early and start trekking (4 hours). The mighty Parvati river will be visible from few points. The trail winds up with a gentle slope to Kheerganga, a natural hot water spring. Take a relaxing dip in the hot water spring. We will do Yoga in evening. Night stay in tents.
#Tuesday, This day is dedicated solely to enjoy trekking (6 hours) and photography in the splendid meadows of Himachal. The trail winds up steeply for an hour till the vast Kungti Meadows. After crossing a glacial stream, we will head up on the other side of the mountain to enter the highest point of the trek i.e. Chotti meadows. Bunbuni meadows is downhill walk from here. Reach Bunbuni meadows and set up camps.
#Wednesday, We will start our day with meditation session. After breakfast, we will trek down (3hours) to beautiful village of Kalga. The village is full of Apple trees and awesome cafes. You might come across many solo travelers here. We will do Yoga in evening.
#Thursday, We will start our day with meditation session. After breakfast, we will trek (2 hours) to Tosh village. This village is known for mesmerizing views of Parvati Valley. In evening we will do complete revision of all Yoga sessions. You can buy local apples to carry back home.
#Friday, We will start our day with meditation session. After breakfast, we will move to Kasol. We can visit some happening cafes of Kasol for lunch. Take Volvo bus to Delhi in evening. Trip ends here.
#Saturday, In morning, you will reach Delhi and later take train/flight to your destinations.
Fees Includes: - Yoga and meditation sessions - Virtually all expenses from Kasol onwards - Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and refreshments - Accommodation expenses - Travel expenses in bus, jeep etc from Kasol onwards - Trekking and camping guidance
Fees Excludes: - Basic fee does not include travel fare till Kasol - Travel Insurance, emergency evacuation or medical charges - Any personal expenditure like hiring porters, buying apples etc. - Bottled water/beverages etc.
Things to be carried Compulsory: - Identity card - Yoga mat or foldable chatai - Jacket or sweater and other warm clothes like muffler, gloves, winter cap etc. - Umbrella and bag cover - Rechargeable Torch - Sport shoes or trekking shoes - At least two personal water bottles all the time during trip. - Personal medical kit, soap, paste etc. Please don’t expect to get medical stores everywhere. - Carry your luggage in a backpack with raincover. You should be able to walk long distances carrying your luggage
Recommended but not compulsory: - Sunscreen, sunglasses, cap etc. - One bedsheet or blanket - Quick dry clothings - Dry fruits, Energy bars etc.
