Lush green surrounding covered with deep jungle,crossing water streams, walk through Mudd,amazing sound of tweeting bird and the hidden route Bhorandyache Daar said route rarely used by anyone as it’s like naali vaat with the full of water streams, boulders, dense jungle & many flora arround it.
Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range near Junnar district of Maharashtra, India, during the reign of the Satavahan, the pass was extensively used as a trade route. Literally, the name nane means “coin” and ghat means “pass”. The name is given because this path was used as a tollbooth to collect toll from traders crossing the hills. Naneghat trek is quite simple and enjoyable, especially during the monsoons. While going through Malshej Ghat, we can easily get a glimpse of Naneghat after Tokavade.
Naneghat will be accessible through kokan side via two major route one is starting from Vaishakhare village marked with arrows easy accessible compare to another one.
Second one is start from village Bhoranda & knows as Bhorandyache Daar said route rarely used by anyone as it’s like naali vaat with the full of water streams, boulders, dense jungle & many flora arround it.

-- The itinerary for the trek will be as follows: -- Meeting Point Kalyan Bus Depot 23.00pm on 15th June’ 19 (We will be back to Mumbai on Sunday 16th June’19 17:00hrs tentatively.)
- Waiver form submission and small introduction round catch private jeep - Will halt for 15mins in route for tea & washrooms - Next 2.5hrs bumpy ride will reach Vaishakhare village - Rest for 2hrs while preparing bf/tea - Wakeup call by morning 05.00am, Have your bf/tea freshen up - Brief about trek, & start trek immediate sharp by 06.30am - 2.5 hrs of normal hike we will reach top of naneghat caves area - Explore/Visit top of Nanacha Angatha & photos - Gradual walk to villagers house rest for while & have lunch - Post we will start descend by 12.30pm - Reach base village by 15.30pm - Trek end with happy memories
Things to Carry: - Rucksack or bag to carry all things (Compulsory) - ID Card - Extra pair of clothes if required by you. (Double Wrap in plastic bag avoid drenched) - 1 Chaddar - Some ready eat food like plum cake, biscuits, fruits Paratha/Thepala/Boiled Eggs/Dates Etc. (Compulsory) - Glucon-D or Electrolytes (Compulsory) - Drinking water min 2ltr - Personal medicine if any - Headlamp or Torch (Compulsory) - Good grip shoes (Compulsory) (flotters are not allowed) - Full Sleeves Shirt & Full Pant.
