The word découpage comes from the French verb découper i.e. ’to cut out'. Découpage is an art of decorating an object by cutting out pictures, gluing them to an object and then coating the pictures and the object with layers of varnish. The finished item looks so beautiful that the result looks like painting or inlay work.
In this workshop, we shall create this beautiful tray and coasters with decoupage paper and decoupage tissues respectively (these are special papers for this craft). Apart from that, we shall use special painting techniques, painting mediums, stencils, stamps and embellishments to give the set a chic and distressed look.
Ticket: 2050/- per participant.
Try, 4 coasters and all other necessary materials.
For 14+ age group.
A word from the Artist & Founder Kshama Thakkar- I am a Chartered Accountant by qualification and a self-taught artist. Painting allows me to break the norms and explore various mediums in art, meet people with different ideologies and moreover discover myself in the process. Conducting different art workshops, exhibiting my work and unconditional support from family and friends has given me the motivation to pursue my passion. It brings me immense joy to share this experience with all of you.
