In association with Camlin, Bombay Drawing Room brings you a unique form of pottery that is beautifully aesthetic and has been a symbol of luxury.
Blue Pottery is widely recognized as a traditional craft of Turkish-Persia. We will use the widely used Fabric Acrylic Colours by Camlin for this event.
The name 'blue pottery' comes from the eye-catching cobalt blue dye used to colour the pottery. The Islamic n the Chinese pottery aesthetics are also derived from this. Our very own Jaipur pottery is also derived from this. More than functional usage, blue pottery is a symbol of luxury in many cultures.
With no prior painting experience required, this will be a guided session, shedding light on the strokes, sketches and techniques, getting in touch with the artist within. All art material & guidance from our side. Oh yes, you get to carry the painting home!
