Hampi is the land of boulders, stone architecture and ancient temples that were built way back in 1500 AD. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hampi was one of the richest and largest cities in the world during its prime time in the ancient days.

Situated on the banks of River Tungabhadra, Hampi is a remarkable tourist destination where travelers from all around the globe come to sink and absorb the laid-back culture and listen to all the mysteries stories from history. Solitude lovers and photography enthusiasts would love to stroll around more than 20 ancient heritages and hilltops where sunset never looks the same.

Beautifully preserved and maintained by Archeological Excavation of India, a Tour to Hampi amidst the muddy roads and paddy rice fields will soothe your senses and take you back in time.

Day 0 - 22nd Aug

  • 17:00 hrs Catch a Bus or Train to Hospet from Mumbai. Overnight Journey

Day 1 - 23rd Aug

  • 08:00 hrs Reach Hospet By Bus or train and meet the Wandering Souls team
  • 08:30 hrs Have breakfast near Hospet bus station. Catch a transport to reach Hampi. After that, we will move towards the Hippie side by crossing the Tungabhadra River by a ferry boat. Check-in at a guest house in rice paddy fields and get fresh.
  • 09:30 hrs Have a small ice breaker introduction session and get briefed about days plan. Hire Scooters/Moped and head out to Sanakpur Lake and go for a coracle ride. Roam around hippie town
  • 14:00 hrs Have lunch
  • 15.00 hrs Explore the other side of the river, soak in the beautiful views
  • 17:00 hrs Head out to enjoy in the sunset from the Monkey hill/ temple after a small hike.
  • 19.30 hrs Move towards the guest house. Have a nice dinner. Fun & Games

Day 2 - 24th Aug

  • 07:00 hrs Morning call. Have breakfast and get fresh
  • 08.00 hrs We will move towards the Ruins side of Hampi by crossing the Tungabhadra River on a ferry boat. Check-in at a guest house.
  • 09:30 hrs Move out for the guided tour of this historical city. Get on the rick to explore the famous temples of Hampi - Vithala temple, the Famous Chariot, Kings Balance and the area around
  • 14:00 hrs Have lunch
  • 15:30 hrs Continue exploring Hampi ruins - Lotus Mahal, elephant stable, Queen's bath, Pushkarni, etc.
  • 17.30 hrs Get to the sunset point at Hemkuta Hill and enjoy the beautiful and relaxing views
  • 19.30 hrs Move back towards our guest house. Get to know each other better over dinner. Enjoy the evening, play games.

Day 3 - 25th Aug

  • 05:30 hrs Morning call for experiencing the sunrise at Matanga hill
  • 08.30 hrs Have breakfast, Get ready
  • 10:00 hrs Visit the monuments which we missed the previous day
  • 14:00 hrs Get back to the guest house. Have lunch and pack up your bags for the return journey
  • 15:30 hrs Get the bus from Hampi to Hospet and reach Hospet to catch the respective buses or trains
  • 17.30 hrs Say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning of your adventures with Wandering Souls

  • Reach Mumbai by 8.00 am
