At RJP Farms, we practice sustainable farming methods that include producing organic fruits, vegetables, legumes & rice without the use of harmful insecticides, pesticides, herbicides or growth promoters. We produce organic free-range chicken, organic free-range eggs & freshwater fish all without the use of harmful antibiotics or hormones. We implement renewable solar energy, drip irrigation & water harvesting to run our farm.
Alongside our farm, we also keep up the wildlife around and make sure all of our working methods are environment-friendly. We keep an open mind to futuristic farming methods & hope to make your visit to our farm educational, fun & environment-friendly.
Our main objectives for you at your visit include - sensory skills improvement, language development, appreciation for nature, academic information, hands-on experience, healthy living, problem-solving skills, exploration, and discovery.

Your visit will include - Identify with the surroundings & get a feel of a farmers life while engaging in fun farming activities like a sing-along with farm songs, learning how to design and create a farm, farming debates and thought exchange, farm plays, tractor & boat rides, seed planting, feeding of livestock, observing eggs in incubators, fish feeding & weigh-your-catch to take home, indulging in manual labor by applying organic pesticides and fertilizers, fruit or vegetable plucking & weigh-your-produce to take home, learning about medicinal plants, on-site solar and wind power tutorial, tree grafting sessions, planting of either rice paddy, tur, drumstick, watermelon, papaya or sunflower, an irrigation system know-how, an orchard, wildlife & teak plantation walk, an on-site bore well location tutorials, an on-site water harvesting practical, compost layers theory, a farm tools and machinery action session, insect farming and a host of things to learn about including solar cooking & cultural events like 'Warli' dancing & painting!
We also welcome those who would like to camp on a farm & encourage collegians to carry out agricultural studies on site.
