In association with Camlin, Bombay Drawing Room brings you Charcoal Sketching Workshop.
Throughout the Renaissance, most artists used charcoal to prepare their panel paintings or fresco murals, and many used charcoal in their drawing studies.
However, some masters used charcoal alone or with chalks to create stunning masterpieces. Its rich dramatic markings make it a favourite of many artists.
Even if you have never sketched/painted, this is your chance to see for yourself your true talent.
Workshop Details :
The 2-hour beginners' workshop covers the following,
- Introduction to the charcoal and required accessories
- Drawing and rendering techniques
- Practice sessions
- Creation of a charcoal artwork
As always, all art supplies are taken care of. And the best part? Amateurs, beginners & non-painters all are welcome, no experience in drawing and sketching is needed. Oh yes, you get to carry your sketch home!
