This interactive, hands-on workshop is designed to demonstrate how a robot really works.
This engaging workshop offers children a chance to learn real-time programming in a fun atmosphere. Using LEGO Mindstorm EV3 robot parts, the children will first understand concepts related to robotics and various parts of the robot with the help of an instructor.
Then children will learn to control the robot with the help of basic programming. The programming is based on Lego's easy to understand programming language. Children intuitively use the simple 'drag and drop' icons to form their code. Children are guided step by step by the experienced instructor on how to program their robot to perform precise movements as well as how to operate environmental sensors such as proximity, light etc.
Working in a team the children learn to work effectively in a group and arrive at a solution. Children will program the robot to perform various tasks autonomously.
