Little Sounds is a concept that takes live performances to an intimate audience across the city. We aim to showcase artists that also perform in languages other than English and we are hoping to take this concept to spaces across the country.
The folks at Adagio, in Bandra have been wonderful and we're back bringing some great music to their cozy space again this month.
This time around we have a wonderful acoustic duo - Beard of Harmony visiting us from Bangalore, India and they will be followed by another duo representing Mumbai - Project B featuring the voice of Barkha Swaroop Saxena accompanied by Richard Joel on guitar.
Beard of Harmony are an Acoustic duo on a journey to create music and share what they love with the world. From making your nostalgic cells tingle with Metallica and Tool, to taking you back to the Sound of Silence, they sing and the rest follows. The origin of Beard of Harmony can be traced back to 13th May 2016, when Sreejith The Beard featured Ruben Simon for the first time. The duo has played live music inseparably since. The brilliance of the band is how well they complement each other in vocal harmonies and the pure feel they evocate during their live sets. Beard Of Harmony is leaving a deep impression on people’s hearts while they both play guitars and sing. The band is working on releasing their EP by mid this year.
Project B is a fluid sound of Barkha who gracefully drifts between English vocals as well as Urdu poetry with the same ease. This duo will be flexing their muscles as they experiment with their sounds in a zero-tech setup.
