Vagabond Experiences presents,

Into The Wild (A day trek to Naneghat)
Naneghat is a trek like no other. Situated close to Murbad in Maharashtra, Naneghat used to be a route frequented by traders and travelers more than two centuries ago. It is the perfect trek for beginners and intermediate trekkers alike. On the way up, we will pass clear streams and beautiful forests with an opportunity to chance upon some mad flora and fauna. At the top, we'll witness history as if we had traveled back in time. Naneghat is a lovely mix of equal parts history, nature, and adventure.

About the trek:
Difficulty level: Moderate-Challenging
Base village: Naneghat
Summit height: 2,461 ft
Time taken to climb/descend: 3 hrs climb / 2.5 hrs descent
Duration: 1 day
Meeting point: Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane - 6:00 am
Departure point: Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane - 8:00 pm

06:00 am: Report outside Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane, and meet the Vagabond team.

06:15 am: We board our private bus, and head to the base starting point of Naneghat. Enroute we stop for some breakfast.

09:30 am: After a round of introductions, we make our way towards the hiking trail.

12:30 pm: We will break for lunch on reaching the summit, or en route depending on our group's speed.

03:00 pm: Once at the top, spend some time absorbing the beauty that is the Sahyadris. We will walk around and explore the other summits of the Naneghat area. We make our way back down the same route we climbed.

05:00 pm: We board the bus and head back to Thane.
