GreenWorld Explorers Presents: Trek to Devkund Waterfall
Devkund Waterfall is located in Roha Taluka near Bhira Dam, Raigad District. Devkund Waterfall from Mumbai is around 170 kms away and from Pune is 110 kms away. The meaning of Kund is small reservoir made to collect rain water for drinking. Dev means Lord. Thus, the local villagers believe that its a reservoir made for the Lord. Apart from this mysterious story, Devkund Waterfall resembles the environment to be heavenly.
As far as trek is concerned, reaching Devkund Waterfall is easy. One has to cross to Jungle Trail along with some water streams for around 4 kms.
Note: 1. Swimming in Devkund Waterfall is allowed up to a particular point where the pond is shallow. Swimming Further can be fatal as the pond is too deep to swim. 2. There is no freshen up / washroom / Toilet facility at the waterfall. 3. Avoid carrying heavyweight for the trek. 4. Floaters and Sandals are not allowed, please wear sports shoes or trekking shoes of good quality.

Day 01- Saturday
11:00 PM Meet GreenWorld Team at Pritam Hotel Near Dadar station (Flyover Dadar East). 11:15 PM Start your Journey. 11:45 PM Yogi Hotel, Diamond Garden, Chembur. 12:30 AM pick up Vashi plaza (below the flyover)
Day 02- Sunday
05:00 AM Reach the beautiful base village of Bhira. 05:15 AM Have Breakfast & Freshen up at Base village. 07:00 AM Gear up for the walk into heaven and start trekking towards the Heavenly waterfall. 09:30 AM Reach Devkund Waterfall. 09:45 AM Take a dip into the bluish-green pool and it's time to click some great selfies 12:00 PM We'll have to leave this awesome place and start our descend. 02:00 PM Reach the base village where mouth-watering Lunch would be waiting for you. 05:00 PM Start return journey. 08:30 PM Adios! Back to the mundane city life Late Night depending on traffic Conditions with lots of memories of this beautiful journey and one more Item ticked off from your bucket list with GreenWorldExplorers.
Things to be Carry:

Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments. Dress Code T-shirt, Flexible Track pant. (HALF PANT NOT ALLOWED.).

All the participants whether travelling by local train/bus or private vehicle must reach at the meeting point at the given time. The organizers will wait for you at the meeting point for not more than 15 mins. Post which the organizers may go out of network range and will not be able to assist you to the base camp. In such a situation the organizers shall not be liable for any inconvenience what so ever and the participants will be considered as "no show" for which no refund will be given. In any case, the leader’s decision will be final and no arguments or objection from the participants will be entertained. During the event, if any participant does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, the organizers will not be held liable for it. If the weather conditions are unfavourable or that the time of a natural calamity on or before the trek, the event will be cancelled, and no refund will be given in this case. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to availability and natural conditions i.e. tents can’t be pitched if it rains and/or rainstorm is being predicted. In such cases, an attempt will be made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events will be basic as it will be sourced locally from villages and will be cooked by villagers. The Tickets can be cancelled 7 days prior to the event and 90% amount will be refunded. Any refund in terms of miscounting in no. of bookings can be requested before 48 hrs of the event. No refund will be processed of once the event gets over. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to drop out during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return. This cost will be charged at-actual-basis. The participant is responsible for his own valuables as there are no luggage safety lockers in any of the base camps. Participation will be at your own risk and the organizers will not be held responsible for any accidents, loss of life or valuables.
