Trek to Manikgad Fort - Panvel
Manikgad was built to look upon the trade route from Maval to the coastal ports. The fort is about 1,878 feet high and invincible from three sides. The upper part can be reached only from the south. The fort presents a very commanding view of the valley surrounding it, with Karnala pinnacle and Prabalgad fort visible prominently.

P.S. Trekker joining team Kshitij directly on the base village will be served only Lunch and light snacks during trek.
06:00 Start from Borivali. On the way pick up from Andheri, Bandra, Sion and Amar Mahal. Breakfast will be served en route.
09:30 Brief at base village and start trek
12:00 Reach at Manikgad Fort. Enjoy views and have light snacks
13:00 Start descending
15:00 Reach base village. Change clothes and have lunch
15:00 Start return journey
What to Bring!
Extra pair of clothes, Towel, sports shoes, floaters, plastic bags for wet clothes, 1 ltr water bottles for each participant including a child, chocolates, Sunscreen, peppermint, personal medication if any, shoulder bag for each participant including the child (no sling bags). What not to Bring!
Chappals, money, expensive jewelry, and junk food.
P.S.: Please do carry a small shoulder bag to carry during the trek which will be enough to carry water bottles, cap, handkerchief, plastic bag, extra floaters/sandals, windcheater, and chocolates. Also advisable each participant should carry it, including children. Do not carry common bag between the whole family
