Every year, around the end of winter the magnificent breed of Olive Ridley turtles visit and lay eggs in the serene beaches of the small village called Anjarle in the Konkan region. These eggs start hatching in March-April. Let us welcome those tiny turtle babies and see them take their first step towards the sea. Anjarle Turtle Festival is for protecting the eggs of the endangered Olive Ridley Turtles.
Suvarnadurg: Suvarnadurg fort is located on a rocky island in the Arabian Sea. The literal meaning of the name is "Golden Fort". The present approach to the sea fort is only by boats from the Harnai port.
