About the trek: Visapur is an adjacent fort to Lohagad near Lonavla. It is located in the Pune district. Visapur is built on the same plateau as Lohagad. Visapur was built during the time 1713 to 1720 by Balaji Vishwanath, the first Peshwa of the Maratha Empire. The fort walls are still intact and are must watch. The ruins of the fort are still present here. There is a huge Hanuman carving at the fort. It's a must visit place in Lonavala.
Brief Itinerary: 06:30 - Assemble at Thane (East) near the ticket counter of platform no.10A. If you are late then you will miss the trek 06:35 - Start traveling towards Lonavla on a private bus. Second, pick up from Kharghar. 09:30 - Reach Visapur base, have breakfast and introduction 10:00 - Start trekking. 13:00 - Reach Visapur top and explore the fort. 15:30 - Have lunch at the base village. 17:00 - Start traveling towards Thane. 20:00 - Reach Thane
