Kalsubai Trek with a height of 1646 meters or 5400 Feet is famous as the highest peak in Maharashtra. Kalsubai Mountain lies in the Sahyadri mountain range falling under the Kalsubai Harishchandragad wildlife sanctuary. Kalsubai Height being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view. Since Bhandardara Dam and Kalsubai Peak is extremely famous, enough effort has been made to make this trek easy. There are steel railings, chains, and ladders at places where it is difficult to climb. Climbing the Kalsubai Peak under the stars and moonlight adds to the thrilling experience of night trek.
Night Trek to Kalsubai Event Itinerary
23:15 pm -Assemble at the Kasara Railway Station.
23:30 pm -Get in the jeep to start the journey from Kasara to Bari village. (By private vehicle)
01:15 am Reach Bari village & rest for a while.
02:15 am Put on your hiking shoes to begin the trek.
06:00 am Reach the top & witness the mesmerizing view of the sunrise.
06:30 am Tea & Snacks on the way while descending.
07:00 am Start descending Kalsubai.
09:00 am Reach the base village and freshen up.
09:30 am Leave for Kasara station.
11:30 am Trip ends with some happy memories.
Transport to and from Kasara station (private vehicles).

Shoes with a thick sole. (trekking shoes)

Medicine those u require usually.
Please do not carry sling bags.
Avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms, and gambling strictly prohibited.
The leader's decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care.
