What: ‘Parting with Words’ brings English and Hindi poems from all over the world that speaks for, with, and about death. Woven together in a dramatic reading, they open a space for dialogue about our hopes, fears, feelings, and thoughts related to parting. They intend to make death part of our conversation and contemplation such that we recognize death as the inevitable and significant companion of our living. The play will present:
Aanand Chabuskwar- Active in theatre and its application in education, community, and therapy for more than twenty years, Aanand Chabuskwar is a teacher and facilitator who has worked with diverse groups in institutions and Universities across India, Europe, and SE Asia. He initiated the TACT theatre in 2004.
Rupali Bhave is an actress, author, translator, theatre facilitator, and voice artist, and is the founder of Jacaranda - a theatre organization for children.
Aarti Tiwari is a theatre practitioner who works in English, Hindi, Marathi language theatre. She has been traveling countrywide with her solo performance, ‘Mansha Ki Shaadi’. Her most recent international work has been in the musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘As you Like it’.
