Does God exist? Do dragons exist? We don't know. All we know is that weekends at the beach are delicious! And how do we make things extra tasty? By adding some ingredients that just elevate this experience further. This is easy. Follow us.

First, find a bunch of like-minded dudes and dudettes who are looking to have a good time away from the mundane and transport these people to a clean and secluded beach far away from the city. While both of these elements are combining, simmering and bringing out the excitement, BOOM! Add a dollop of the most perfect sunset. Now we are cooking! Add a big helping of an amazing artiste playing a live set and all of a sudden we have this flavorful evening that's coming together perfectly. Fields of Sound is now simmering in its own juices and is slowly turning out to be a perfect dish of a weekend.

That's our recipe and we're looking for the freshest ingredients!

Do you smell what's cooking? Woooooo! Meow! Worldwide peace!

Who's performing?

| Aarifah Rebello |

After having entered the world of independent music as a drummer, singer-songwriter and guitarist, Aarifah aims at exploring every aspect in this industry. Armed with a handful of heartfelt songs and her refreshingly earnest approach to live performance, she wins over any audience who can appreciate good, honest songwriting.

Having played at a host of venues and festivals like Orange Festival, and Control ALT Delete and NH7 (Shillong and Pune), she has also played across cities in India. Her music has been featured on Ennui.Bombs Stupiditties compilation, BalconyTv, Rolling Stone India, Homegrown, TLC, Grazia, Homegrown, MaedinIndia as well as on BuzzFeed.

Her most notable achievements have been led her to collaborate with producer Sandunes as a part of Red Bulls Searching for Sound, playing drums with Madame Gandhi on her India tour and performing for celebrated Grammy Award Winner Yo-Yo Ma on his recent visit to Mumbai as part of an artist residency co-hosted by G5a.

Besides playing the drums for Ladies Compartment and Toycatcher she is currently working on her solo project as Aarifah, along with various videos on YouTube, and homemade audios on Soundcloud to pimp it out on her social media along with hilarious videos on her Instagram showcasing her strength in being human, nah scratch that, in being herself.

I highly recommend choosing Vagabond as your travel partners for Spiti! I went to their fire-flies Bhandardara trip with a friend in June 2018, and then alone to Spiti in August 2018. Both the times, it was overwhelmingly positive, fun and memorable! In Spiti, from the ground you stand on to as far as your eyes can see, everything is awe-inspiringly beautiful. You dont really have to venture specifically to go to a beautiful spot. All of it is beautiful! And the trip organisers let us savour this stunning landscape in as much of its entirety as possible, sometimes making brief car-stops to just savour what lies in front of us, or moving around scheduled things if majority of us wanted to revisit a spot or stay at a spot for a little longer. They not only knew the usual tourist spots, but also those tucked away, the unusual and hidden ones. One evening, they took us to a cafe which was hosting an open mic evening, a documentary screening, and they had the cafe prepare a sumptuous local cuisine just for us! They made sure we got a taste of the local and the authentic. We savoured Spiti Coffee, Momos, Thukpa, Yam cheese, as well as apple orchards, river valleys, mountain tops, green-pea fields, ancient monasteries and some of the most delicious food!Whether it was travel, food, sight-seeing, stay or occasional unforeseen emergencies, they were very responsible and had everything in control. You can also be assured of great music for the road and some strange, fun games! The best part of going with Vagabond is that they let you be. They arent icy rigid with the itenary, youre free to do what you want to do, to wander and drift, to join their plan or stay back and do your own thing. They let you explore the place on your terms, at your own pace. As someone who was traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable all throughout the trip. The organisers are very approachable and always friendly.I highly, highly, highly recommend choosing Vagabond as your travel organisers. - by Raushan for Back-Pack-Go!
