About - Kalsubai At the summit is a small temple of Kalsubai, which can seat just three people. This being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view. The vastly spread out backwaters of Bhandardara attract ones attention from the top. To the north of the mountain range forts such as Ramsej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi, Kavnai can be seen. To the east one can spot Aundha, Vishramgad, Bitangad, to the west Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (south-west) and to the south Padhargad, Ghanchakkar, Harishchandragad can be seen.

Day 0 Saturday
Please board the below train and meet us at Kasara Railway Station near the Ticket counter
Board Indrayani train from Pune at 18:35
Reach Kalyan 21:00 (have dinner before you board the train)
Board local train till Kasara.
Day 1 Sunday
00:15 Assemble at Kasara Railway Station near the ticket counter.
00:20 Travel from Kasara Railway Station to Bari Village by Local Jeep.
02:30 Reach Bari village and take a rest for a while.
03:00 Commencement of the trek after briefing and a short introduction.
07:00 Reach Kalsubai top, explore the summit and enjoy the sunrise from the top.
09:00 Start descending.
12:00 Reach base village and Lunch.
13:00 Travel by Jeep from Bari Village to Kasara Railway Station.
15:00 Reach Kasara railway station and disperse.
People may board the same train from their respective stations of convenience.
Missing the train is missing Kalsubai Trek, no refund will be provided.
If it rains, we'll start the trek early in the morning by 5-5.30 am.

Excluded: Anything not mentioned in the above inclusion list. Any expenses of personal nature.
This event is subject to a minimum number of participants i.e 10. If there are less than 10 participants then the event will be cancelled.
Things to carry: 1. Identity Card 2. Torch (mandatory) 3. 2 litres water minimum. 4. Good trekking shoes. (Avoid Sneakers) 5. Personal Medicine 6. Camera (Optional). 7. Electral/ Enerzyl. 8. Ready to eat food like Biscuits, plum cakes, etc. Avoid carrying any expensive items, Sahyadri Ranges is not responsible for any loss of such items.
RULES: No smoking. No plastic littering. Wear full sleeves, full track suite to avoid mosquitos. No jeans/skin-tight cloths. Proper footwear/shoes are essential for trek. Conserve and preserve our heritage. No deo / perfume. After the trek it's OK. We reserve all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice. No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behaviour during trek. Trek leader's decisions will be final and binding. Photographs were taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purposes. Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage.
