Music and sound have always been an integral part of Aparna's life, from learning Sanskrit mantras as a child, singing Indian classical ragas, playing the violin, and being fascinated with all kinds of percussion instruments such as drums and chimes. She truly connects with sound on a very deep emotional as well as spiritual level that immediately transports the listener to another dimension. There is nothing in this world that gives her more joy than elevating people's lives through music and sound.Sound Healing is a type of vibrational healing technique that uses the voice and various other instruments such as Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, and drums to promote deep relaxation and healing for the mind, body, and spirit. Just like other healing modalities, it treats the whole person, and not just the symptoms. It is a combination of ancient wisdom, art, and science. Studies have shown that sonic waves and vibrations penetrate down to the cellular level to dissolve trauma and reset cells to their natural patterns. Sound healing sessions typically last 60 - 75 minutes. It is an improvised sound "concert" played by the practitioner, while the client lays on a mat or a massage table and passively receives the sound vibrations. Sound healing sessions can also be interactive where clients will be engaged not only in active listening and mindfulness, but also in chanting, toning, singing, playing instruments, as well as light movement and dance
