Night Trek to Brahmagiri & Durgbhandar

In the year 1752, the warrior from Peshwa’s camp, Trimbak Suryaji Prabhu wrested the fort and established the Peshwa’s regime there. It was in the year 1818 that British forces led by Mc Dowell wrested the fort and gained upper hand in the region as the forces won a set of 16 other forts in the vicinity.
Brahmagiri (Trimbakgad) :
Trimbakeshwar Temple is perched on the picturesque lusting green Brahmagiri hills near Nasik in Maharashtra. River Godavari originates on this hill and flows though the Brahmagiri ranges.
The itinerary for the trek will be as follows:
On 23rd March 2019 - Saturday Night : We will be starting with the CST - Kasara Second Last Slow Local (Time table given below)
People may board the same Kasara train from the station of their convenience and meet us in the train directly. (Get into second boggy from CST side)
We will proceed to the Trimbakeshwar Temple by Local Transport. Reach the Temple by 3:30 am Post Introduction , Start Trek to Brahmagiri Top. (Rock cut steps to reach on top of Brahmagiri) Reach the Top by 5:30 am Rest for Some time. Breakfast at the Brahmagiri Top Start Trek to Bhandar Durg by 7.30 am Reach the Top by 9am Explore and Start Descending by 10.30 am Reach Base Village by 1.30 pm Lunch at the Base Village. (TTMM) Start our Return Journey by 4pm Evening Tea/Coffee on the way Reach Mumbai by 7 - 8 pm.
The charges for the trek will be Rs 1050/- per head, which includes Travelling from Kasara to Kasara by Public Transport, Breakfast MischiefTreks expertise charges.

Things To Be carried: A bottle of water (Atleast 3 Ltrs) Camera, Cap, etc. (Optional) Warm Cloth , Extra Pair of Clothes. Sleeping bag or proper Bedding (can be used if Required) Mosquito Repellent Cream Torch with Extra Batteries Some ready to Eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc. Medicine those if u require usually (Optional) Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks and Floaters(Compulsory)
Note- Please understand this ain't a picnic, all Trekking and Adventure activities demand fitness. We request you to get a medical fitness check done before you participate in any such events. If suffering from any allergy carry proper medications and inform your trek leaders about it. Also make sure you have a sufficient supply of medication for your trip, building in an allowance for any travel delay. Those with Active Chest and Heart diseases that limit physical activity should not go to high altitudes.
