The neighbourhood of Girgaum is a maze in itself. A maze of people, places and historical markers.

The walk will begin at the iconic Sahitya Sangh Mandir which has pioneered many theatrical performances since 1935.

The next stop is a 125-year-old Keshavji Naik Chawl which witnessed freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak giving fiery speeches using the Ganesh festival to foster unity among Indians.

The next stop will be a more than 100-year-old book shop in CP tank called Hindi Granth Karyalay.followed by a visit to an iconic Ganesh temple.

We will then go to Khotachiwadi an East Indian maze of houses built in Portuguese style.

The walk passing through Girgaum church will end at Congress House where the Indian National Congress was formed.

The walk will end with lunch on actuals at an iconic eatery Golden Chimney in Girgaum
