Learn the art of Shibori to create a unique Tote bag for yourself. Join us for our Shibori on tote bag workshop and not only do you get to learn this art, but you also take with you a beautiful Shibori tote bag at the end of the workshop.
Shibori (Japanese name or Tie and Dye) is part of the larger family of resist-dyeing techniques that can be found in different forms across many cultures.
Tie-dye is a method of tying or stitching fabric together to prevent the absorption of dye to a particular area, dyeing is the process of applying colour on cloth to produce a design. Although the techniques of tie and dye vary from culture to culture, the concept of dying remains one of the oldest methods of printing design on fabric.
No prior experience required, all material will be provided.
List of inclusive material:
1. 1 Cotton sample fabric
2. 1 Tote Bag
3. Clamps, coins, thread
4. Ice Cream Sticks
5. Dyes

Fees - Rs. 1800/- per person (inclusive of all material)
You get to take back the bag you make, all other material for use during workshop.
