- Explore the Kasol market
Day 1: Unlike others, our journey DOES NOT begin at Delhi, it begins right here in Mumbai! :D
We have booked train tickets in the Garib Rath Express, and we all go together- playing loads of games and having the time of our lives in the train journey itself (Remember YJHD?)
Day 2: We reach in the morning at Delhi after which we give you free time to explore the Capital City. Go explore the street food here, or visit the famous Red Fort & India Gate! We assemble at R.K. Ashram Metro station (Pillar no. 9) by 5:00 pm from where we board our bus to Bhuntar. Say goodbye to pollution, traffic, the fast-paced city life and probably even network connectivity.
Day 3: After reaching Bhuntar early in the morning, we'll make our way to Kasol, where we settle into our homestays. You can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring this hippie paradise and go cafe hopping, maybe try out the famous Israeli / Continental cuisines! Not forgetting to mention, Kasol has got a famous night market too- which shouldn't be missed!
We hit the sheets early after dinner because tomorrow's the BIG DAY we've all been waiting for!
Day 4: Today we trek to the hot water springs of Kheerganga! The trek's 12 km long, so it will test you. But worry not the scenic forests and the picturesque snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas will make up for it. And of course, the end reward of dipping yourself into a hot water spring to relax your sole muscles is so, so worth it!
We'll camp in the tents at Kheerganga overnight. There'll be bonfire too, just in case you're wondering ;)
Day 5: We check out from our cosy little tents early in the morning and retrace our way back down through the same scenic route. Once we're back to base, we'll make our way to the heart of Parvati Valley today- TOSH!
Tosh is the highest village in this valley located on a hillside overlooking the river and a waterfall (We know you've already started imagining)
The most ideal way to explore this hamlet is to undertake long walks and discover the pretty delights of its mountain scenery. In the evening, take a stroll to the local flea market to pick souvenirs for family and friends. Overnight stay at Tosh.
Day 6: Today's our last day in this beautiful valley. We'll make the most of it by exploring the remainder of the rustic villages namely- Kalga & Pulga, the pristine untouched pinewood wonderland! We finally make our way to Manikaran Sahib in the afternoon and have langar.
Make sure you go shopping and get those jholas, souvenirs & the famous Himachal jewellery. We'll head to Bhuntar right after and take a bus back to Delhi in the evening.
Day 7: We reach Delhi in the morning and immediately make our way to the railway station to board the Garib Rath Express back to Mumbai!
Day 8: Reach Mumbai. Goodbye new friends, goodbye mountains but surely not for long! :)
