More than 75 percent of our energy flows through our eyes and so in darkness, this energy becomes available to us to experience the beyond.
Darkness Meditation is used by many spiritual schools of Tantra, Shamanism, Osho, Sufism, and Taoism to name a few.
Using techniques like breathwork, light gazing & connecting to navel center through body movements, we will be guided to sit silently in the darkness.
Through this process, participants have shared different experiences ranging from an elevated state of consciousness to an awakening of subtle body energies, to oneness, timelessness or deep relaxation.
It is rare to find a place where one can experiment with meditation in complete darkness.
At Zorba the Buddha, every Amavasya (new moon), we create a special darkroom for this powerful experience.
