Pooja Sehgal Batta Theatre Presents Comedy Play ''Massage'' by Rakesh Bedi.
MASSAGE is a two-act play, in fact, a monologue in which RAKESH BEDI portrays several characters which can be seen vividly as the play progresses.
MASSAGE tries to peep into the underbelly of today's society through the escapades of HAPPY KUMAR who comes to join the film industry to become an actor but unfortunately becomes the fourth assistant director of a filmmaker called KOHLI who specializes in the snake and sex genre of cinema.
With his sensitivity gone for a toss, he becomes worn out and disillusioned and finally lands up in a ladies gym as an instructor. His interactions with the ladies in the gym create rib-tickling humor. But here too his days are numbered but Happy learns the intricacies of MASSAGE and becomes a famous masseur.
He meets many other interesting characters during his life journey. May it be a cunning lawyer, or the unworthy politician, or his funny P.A. Pandey, or the woman of his life, or the heroine, or the heroine's mother, who almost molests him.
Rakesh Bedi plays 24 different characters deftly in his inimitable comic style in a span of 90 min with a good dose of humor.
Showtime 5:00 P.M and 7:30 P.M at Little Theatre Group Auditorium, Mandi House
