Nayaswami Gyandev is Director of Ananda Yoga® worldwide and co-director of Ananda Meditation Teacher Training at the Ananda School of Yoga & Meditation in California. He is also a Kriyacharya (authorized to give initiation into Kriya Yoga).
A co-founder of Yoga Alliance (the organization that sets training standards for yoga teachers in the USA), Gyandev currently serves on Yoga Alliances Advisory Council.
Gyandev lives at Ananda Village (a Northern California community of disciples of Paramhansa Yogananda), where heteaches at The Expanding Light retreat.
He also leads Ananda Spiritual Travels experiences in India, Israel, Costa Rica, and Hawaii.Gyandev is a Certified Online Instructor, and he has a Ph.D. in Operations Research (applied mathematics) from Stanford University.
