Departure FOR DELHI to MANALI by Volvo. Overnight journey Delhi to Manali
Day 01: Arrival at our Manali Base Camp Arrive at Manali Base Camp on your own. We take you for an acclimatization walk. Orientation regarding the trek will be given in the evening and will cover important information like how to pack your rucksack, walking technique, and general information about the trek route. We will stay the night at Manali Base Camp.
Day 02: Drive to Kulang, then trek Kulang Moridugh (3700 Mts.) (5 Hrs.)
The trail ascends steeply through the dense forest of pine and further Himalayan silver oak, walnut, chestnut, and Himalayan silver birch. Camp right in the middle of the forest in a small meadow.
Day 03: Moridugh Bhrigu Lake (4270 Mts.) Moridugh (3700 Mts.) (07 -08 Hrs.)
The trail ascends through the last line of the trees into the wide-open meadows of Panduropa, an excellent view of the mountainscape is enfolded towards all sides. The name of the meadow (Panduropa) is derived from a legend that the Pandavas of Mahabharata cultivated rice fields here. From here one can have the breathtaking view of two famous summits of Manali (Deo Tibba (6001 Mts.) and Inderasan (6230 Mts.). Further to the east lies the desolate range of Spiti and Kinnaur. Further Gradual, ascent to the Bhrigu Lake through the meadows. Lake has great religious importance to local folks. This place provides, a magnificent 360 degrees view as series of mountain ranges stretch in front of you including Dhauladhar, Pir panjal, Chandra Bhaga Range and distant Spiti Range. Return back to Camp at Moridugh.
Day 04 Post breakfast descends to Vashisht then to Manali (4 5 Hrs.). Steep downhill trek through the forest. At Evening back to Delhi.
NOTE: IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE THAT A ROUTE CHANGE MAY BECOME NECESSARY DUE, TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, INACCESSIBILITY THROUGH THE MOUNTAIN PASSES DUE TO HEAVY SNOW, CONDITION OF THE TRAIL AND PHYSICAL FITNESS OF THE CLIENTS, POLITICAL RESTRICTIONS AND OTHER CAUSE BEYOND HUMAN CONTROL.
Services during the Trek:
Guide: The group will be accompanied by a trained Mountain Guide with Certification from the Western Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Manali. Apart from this, he must have experience of assisting treks in the Himalayas as an assistant Guide at least for three years. He must be fully knowing the area as well the people Guides are trained to coordinate any evacuation during the emergency.
Kitchen team: All our cooks and kitchen assistants are well trained and provide the best food (Indian, Chinese, continental). They have gone through various training in terms of quality, variety and most important to maintain high standards of Hygiene.
Note: If clients are unable to bring then we can provide (High ankle Trekking Shoes, waterproof and windproof heavy jacket, rain jacket, waterproof trousers, gloves, and trekking poles at very nominal hiring cost)
All transportation during the Trek
CAMPING ARRANGEMENT Spacious Two men tents, sleeping bags, and pillow, heavy foam pad mattresses, Kitchen tent, all the camping equipment including kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, etc.
Medical Back up:
Medical Kit, we do provide Oxygen containers for all high altitude
1. Tents on twin sharing, sleeping bag and carry mat. 2. Nutritious, high-calorie Veg. food will be served. 3. Guide, cook and camp helpers. 4. Horses to carry loads on the route.
1. Any expenses of personal nature like phone calls etc. 2. Any food and accommodation not mentioned above. 3. All road head to road head transport will be on actuals.
