THE EXPERIENCE

A 3-day experience in a hamlet above McLeodGanj named Dharamkot, full of fun activities and getting lost in nature. You will have all the fun in the world making pots in a studio, running a cafe with a local, singing your hearts out, watching beautiful sunsets, doing yoga and chilling at a waterfall. You will be with a group of around 10 interesting people, exploring and making memories together.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

MAKE AND FIRE YOUR OWN POTS

Turn a lump of clay into shapes and sizes of your imagination at a beautiful studio in Dharamkot. Chill, have fun and admire the mighty Dhauladhar range with a small community of artists.

A BEAUTIFUL WATERFALL, SUNSET, AND YOGA

You are bound to feel much more fresh, energetic and one with nature as you watch the sun disappear, jump into the cool waters of a waterfall, and do yoga with a view of the beautiful mountains. To add to the fun, all this is along with an amazing bunch of new friends you make along the journey.

IMMERSE INTO THE LOCAL CULTURE

McLeodganj has a lot of Tibetan influence. Immerse yourself into it by understanding the culture through stories, visiting the Dalai Lama temple, a museum and engaging in a folk show with the locals. During your free exploration on the last day, we suggest you also try Tibetan cooking by making your own momos and soups at Lhmo's kitchen.

RUN A CAFE WITH A LOCAL

Have you ever wondered or wanted to start your own cafe in the mountains? Well, you can get a taste of what it is, by spending time in a local cafe and helping in the day to day operations, cooking your favorite dish or styling the cafe.

WHERE WILL YOU GO?

We spend the first two days in a peaceful yet lively hamlet Dharamkot situated above McLeodganj. Dharamkot is a place for nature lovers, creatives and has lately been known for its chill culture and amazing cafes. Keeping Dharamkot as the base, you engage the different activities described above, enjoy with the group and in the local cafes, The 3rd day is more of free exploration of the amazing local culture in McLeodGanj.

Give yourself a creative break, meet new people, pottery

Arrive at McLeodganj, meet your fellow travelers and friends for the next 3 days, as you enjoy refreshing local drinks and breakfast. We move to the beautiful village of Dharamkot and check-in at the guesthouse with an amazing view. Spend some time to relax or walk around to get a feel of the place.

The afternoon and evening are spent in a pottery studio with views of the Dhauladhar range, turning clay into shapes and sizes of your imagination. You can chill at the studio, interact with the people there. We also have music and snacks to add to the creative experience.

Later in the evening, you can engage in cooking with your host at the guesthouse, if you wish so. As we have dinner, you engage in interactions among the group, the locals and watch a small documentary.

Day 2
Run a local cafe, a Thundering Waterfall, Beautiful Sunset, Yoga

Join a morning Yoga session along with the rising sun. Go for a walk around and have a healthy breakfast of your choice.

In the late afternoon, we start our walk to the Gallu waterfall, on a trail with a lot of birds. Feel the rush of the fast-flowing cool water and relax at the waterfall. On the way back, watch the sun disappear as you sip hot tea at the Sunset Cafe.

This day is also about getting the feel of running a local cafe and giving wings to your thoughts of starting a cafe in the mountains. Dharamkot has numerous kinds of cafes, and you can pick the role of your choice at any of these for a couple of hours. Cook your dish, style the cafe or wait tables, whatever fits your cup. The nights are safe and peaceful, and you can walk around, watch the stars, chill at a local cafe and spend your time the way you like best.

Day 3

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where do I reach, and what if I reach early?

The journey begins at McLeodGanj at 9 am, where you can reach by road or by air (Ghaggal Airport). Many buses are available from Delhi, Chandigarh and other cities. Don't worry if you reach a few hours early. Once you reach McLeodGanj, we will have a comfortable place for you to rest and freshen up. You will be timely informed about the same.

2. What should I bring along?

We strongly recommend you to travel light and carry only a single backpack along with a small bag to carry your essentials for walks and short hikes. Wear comfortable shoes and carry light woolens and a jacket.

3. Can I travel with my group of friends?

This is a small group journey with a maximum of 10 people. A small group helps in a more interactive experience and meaningful friendships with new people. If you are traveling along with your friends, we would suggest your group size to be not bigger than 3 people, so that you can have more interactions with new people.

4. What are the cancellation and refund policy?

If you cancel more than 14 days before the start date, 80% of the total cost will be refunded. If cancellation is between 7-14 days before the start date, 50% of the trip cost will be refunded. No refund would be possible if the cancellation is within 7 days of the start date.

5. What happens in case of extreme weather conditions or unexpected circumstances?

In some circumstances over which we have no control (like extreme weather conditions), the experience might get canceled or altered, in the interest of the safety of all travelers. In this case, the complete trip amount will be refunded. We won't be able to compensate for any bookings you might have made towards reaching the starting point.
