About the Instructor
Saibal loves designing elegant and engaging product experiences. Saibal has always been a visual storyteller driven by a need to understand and influence the end user. He is a relentless problem solver and curious by nature. His strong understanding of the user-centered design and service design to enhance customer experience adds tremendous value and impact while working with smart and scalable product companies of the new millennia.
Saibal's experience spans over 15 years across industries like e-commerce, banking, telecommunications and software products such as desktop and mobile apps. He has been a part of agency environments, global corporate design teams as well as independent consulting.
He has worked with companies like Infosys where he designed a banking product called Finacle. With Grameenphone, a leading telecom venture by Telenor in Bangladesh, he worked on User Research & Service Design projects to enhance Customer Experience of the brand. At Adobe India, he managed and lead a team of 25 designers working in different products of Adobe like Acrobat, AEM, Creative Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and TCS. Currently, he is running his own studio called GDD which he co-founded in 2015 with leading industrial designer Sharad Chauhan.
Apart from designing digital products, Saibal is also a design mentor and evangelist who has taught design at Pearl Academy. Saibal has personally conducted corporate training programs for Microsoft India and IndiaMART. He represented an international organization called Interaction Design Association(IxDA) as a local leader for its Delhi NCR chapter.
