Tai Chi is a centuries-old Chinese martial art that descends from qigong, an ancient Chinese discipline that has its roots in traditional Chinese medicine.Tai Chi is ‘Swimming on land’In This Workshop, we will be learning Yang 6 forms of Tai Chi which is the short form taken from Yang 24 form.It takes approximately 1.5 minutes to perform once and can be completed in an area of 8 by 4 feet.The form is ideal for beginners and those that do not have enough time to commit to performing longer forms. The 6 form emphasizes proper stances and stepping.Tai Chi 6 forms Includes:- Tai Chi Commencement.- Twist Step/Brush Knee.- Playing the lute.- Repulsing the monkey.- Grasping the sparrow tale left/right.- Closing form.Benefits:- Stress Buster- Body awareness- Bring Balance to Body & Mind- Brings Tremendous Relaxation- Helps to keep the body healthy and flexible- Movements are highly meditative.
