Details

The NIV Art Centre and Gallery present Sejal Morris and Emperor TZZZARRR in their show titled 'Iconic Retro Dystopia' with them performing on Sunday, 28th July, 7:30 pm onwards at the Niv Art Centre, 210, Neb Sarai, Near IGNOU, New Delhi. Ticket pricing per person - Early bird @ 299 INR only. After 12th July @499 INR.

Normal Tickets go live on on the 12th Of July, 2019 at 8:30 pm onwards. )

Emperor TZZZARRR will be opening the evening with his highly futuristic yet retro DJ Set which would consist of dystopian future RnB songs and also Neo Retrowave and Cyberpunk tracks featuring the works of iconic artists like Vangelis, Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, KAVINSKY, The Weeknd, Tyler The Creator, Pink Floyd, Gesaffelstein , Hacker, Jean Michel Jarre, Whitesnake , deadmau5 , Kaskade and many more artists. This will be Emperor TZZZARRR's debut performance in front of the Delhi crowd.

 

He will be then followed by Sejal Morris performing a live set. Sejal identifies music as her first love and passion. She has been singing in choirs since she was in 5th grade and eventually, she outgrew the space she was confined to and found her own sound which is eccentric, but peculiar of her, and mainly inspired by the likes of certain artists like Sabrina Claudio, Lianne La Havas, Miley Cyrus, Mac Ayres, D'Angelo, etc. She has been a part of the independent music scene for the past four years with some very successful regular gigs to her fame like Horn OK Please, The Grub Fest, Zomaland, Contemporary Arts Week, Asian Hawkers Market, to name a few. She was also honored by her college Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, as notable alumni shortly after she graduated. And her popularly known 'Acoustic Wednesdays' at TabulaBeach Cafe, went on to be recognized and promoted by Vh1 India under their venture 'Vh1 Sound Nation'. She has been hosted by RadioOne 94.3 several times as an up and coming artist. She is currently working on her original music and aims to release it by the end of 2020.

 

About the performing artists -

 

Emperor TZZZARRR (real name - Sayam Raj Sagar) is a 23-year-old Pop Music Producer and Composer based in New Delhi who has released original songs on really major European channels and networks on YouTube and other digital stores. His release titled 'Feeling The Love' had received over 1.5 million views on YouTube within 2 days of releasing in October 2018 and was trending on YouTube charts in several European countries including Germany, Ukraine, Armenia, Slovenia, and Russia. Since then he has also worked and collaborated with Bollywood singer Avanie Joshi on the song 'Future Soul' produced by him. He has an upcoming original song and music video in the Punjabi music industry too with Pav Dharia, who is one of the biggest Punjabi Music Popstars in the world currently whose iconic song 'Naja' grossed more than 345 million views on YouTube till present date. He also has an active radio channel and show on Mixcloud and has released over 31 episodes till present.
