About The Artist - Ms. Vidya Krishna


She is a self-trained artist, an art instructor and a freelance illustrator from Chennai. Art has been her passion since childhood and has become her dream today. She specialized in different kinds of mediums such as Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil Painting, etc. When it comes to Painting, She likes to focus more on traditional and tribal Indian Art forms such as Madhubani, Kalamkari, Gond Art, Lippan Art.  


She also enjoys and has a strong background in different kinds of Murals. Her learning, as well as works, include Kerala Mural, 3D-Mural, Clay Mural, M-Seal Mural, Stain-wood-Mural, and Marble Dust Murals. She had trained more than 200+ students in her Art teaching.


She quotes art I truly believe there is no end to learning and when it comes to art, the more we do, the more we learn. This is why I always love to learn and now I wish to share my learning, knowledge, and experience with everyone.


About the Workshop - 


Madhubani Paintings are also known as Mithila art or Mithila Paintings these are practiced in the Mithila region of Bihar in India and Nepal. These paintings created with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments and is characterized by eye-catching geometrical patterns. You will be learning the same art using modern touch. 


What you will learn?


- Usage and types of art.


- Different types of patterns


- Color theory


- Art composure and color balancing techniques.


Picture shown in the poster would be taught at the can pick up anyone from the picture shown.


No previous experience in art is required.


Age - 10+ years old and above.


All materials will be provided to you and you will take back a completed Painting. Materials include Drawing inks, Handmade paper, brushes.


All Materials, Refreshments, and Certificates will be provided.


The room has a nice rooftop view with an air-conditioned facility.
