Yoga in current times has become the most popular means of health and healing all over the world. But it is really a misfortune that Yoga which is such versatile methodology has been misunderstood and identified as only Asana which is a basic physical part of Yoga.
It is true that we need to work with our physical body to release the stress built through various challenges from external world of survival in the form of pollution, discord in relationships both personal and professional and even academic stress pushing students to the extreme act of suicide.
So at this challenging times what we need is an appropriate tool to help us strengthen ourselves from inside out and to empower ourselves to face the challenges as an integrated holistic human being help us to be balanced, healthy, fit and practice daily to spread the message of what truly YOGA means.
The root meaning of the word yoga union- integration, at a gross level means there is an integration of ones body, breath and mind - the three primary parts of oneself which actively engages in the outer world. This explains why Yoga is defined as Sarva anga sadhana the tool of integration of all different parts of oneself.
