Video is the most important for a film so is audio. Audio and video both go hand in hand. A film wouldn’t be effective if it misses out on either one of these. This sound engineering workshop will train students to observe the role played by sound in films and how to manipulate it in order to convey a certain mood/emotion or, sometimes even convey the story. A BGM is what helps convey the mood of the story to the viewers and, the ambient sounds are what that gives a realistic effect to the visuals. Considering how important sound is, the sound engineer who handles the audio aspect of a Film needs to be well trained in processes such as dubbing, Foley, voice-over, BGM, mixing etc. This workshop gives students the required training.
