Meditation is an ancient practice to get control of our mind. It seems like a subject for sages and yogis. But in the current fast-paced world, it can help us control our mind and be a better human being, who is less worried about life and enjoys the present moment. It helps develop mindfulness and longer attention span by reducing anxiety, fear and other negative emotions.
Having said that, the most daunting task is to get started, which I will try to help you with. I will share some simple methods of sustained practice.

What is Meditation? - 5mins
How can we control emotions through breath - 10 mins
Different types of meditation practices - 10 mins
Focusing objects of Meditation - 5mins
Guided Meditation - (5 + 10) mins
Simple methods for sustained meditation practice - 5 mins
Where in India can we take more elaborate courses/retreats? - 5 mins
Optional - Books for interested readers - 5 mins
Optional - We can continue discussion for next 30 mins
The session will take place in my apartment and participation is restricted to 5 people.
The fee for this event is donated for conservation/meditation efforts
