The Institute for Global E-commerce (GEC) is conducting a workshop to showcase e-commerce as a career option for women on a career break or those who want to work from home.

E-commerce is now a part of almost every industry and has emerged as a powerful job creator with 1.45 million jobs expected to be created in India alone by 2021. As millions of merchants start selling online, the need for qualified support is set to grow exponentially.

E-commerce is perfectly suited for women looking for a flexible career option. It is fully digital in nature and timings and location are not a hindrance for a qualified professional. The objective of the program is to empower women professionals on a career break to continue or enrich their professional careers with e-commerce skills while on a break.

The GEC has partnered with Azisst and SME MaXX for practical experience projects. GEC  partners have conducted multiple training workshops in  with the leading e-commerce companies like Amazon, Google and Alibaba starting 2016.
