Imagine Trekking around the beautifully landscaped location overlooking dazzling hillocks and milky waterfalls. Yes, Chokkanmudi is a beholder's delight to treat the eyes. The trek through the beauty of grasslands will not only amaze you with its flawless views, but also gives you a taste of hiking above the clouds.
We will spend a night camping atop a hill surrounded by cardamom plantations. We will also trek to Chokkanmudi peak (approx 5hrs two way), which is the third highest peak in western ghats at an altitude close to 2040m, the place is still not known in the tourism circuit. We will also visit kolukkumalai, home to the highest tea plantations in the world.

Day 1 (June 08) - Start from Bangalore/Chennai Friday late night and reach Bodimettu by 7 am. Take a Jeep (offroad) to the campsite. Freshen up, have breakfast and start the trek to Chokkanmudi. Back to the campsite by 6 pm. Overnight in tents with a campfire.
Day 2 (June 09) - After breakfast, trek down to Bison valley and a Jeep ride to kolukkumalai. Explore the area and drop in Bodimettu by 5 pm. Drive back to Bangalore/Chennai. Reach Bangalore/Chennai Monday early morning.
